Operating System
For those not ready to adopt the Windows Vista® operating system today, it is recommended that you purchase the Windows Vista operating system and downgrade the software load to Windows XP Professional. This gives you the option to maintain your current OS standard and provides you licensing rights to Vista when you are ready to transition your environment.
Graphics Processor
For graphics intensive applications or the use of video conferencing (either through a notebook’s integrated web camera or other video conferencing technology), a graphics card is recommended with up to 256MB of memory on the card.
